T4TSpace is a dating app by and for trans people.
EVERYONE HERE IS CHECKED BY A PERSON
Before anyone can browse, message or see a single profile, a person checks their account. You send a selfie, and a human being compares it to your profile. Not an algorithm, not a score. It is the only reason the room stays what it says it is, and it is why nobody here has to start from scratch explaining themselves.
The selfie is deleted the moment the decision is made. It never appears on a profile, nobody but a moderator ever sees it, and it erases itself after seven days even if nobody has looked.
NO CHASERS, NO ADMIRERS
Signing up means agreeing to three things, one statement at a time:
- I will not ask anyone here about their body, their surgeries or what is in their underwear.
- I will not ask anyone here for the name they no longer use, or for photos of who they were before.
- I am here to meet people, not a category or an experience. Nobody here is a first time.
These are not house rules pinned to a wall. They are what each person who signs up has to agree to, one by one.
YOUR LOCATION STAYS YOURS
We store a point offset by up to 250 metres from the one your phone reports, always by the same amount, so repeated readings cannot be averaged back to your address. Distances are measured from a one-kilometre cell and shown rounded. Photos are stripped of their hidden location data before they are ever written to disk.
EVERY FIELD, YOUR CHOICE
Each part of your profile, and each photo, carries its own visibility setting: everyone, your matches, or nobody. Everyone means verified members, inside the app, never anyone outside it. What you write about your transition starts on nobody and your orientation on your matches; everything else starts on everyone, and you can change any of it at any time. Only your name always shows. Hiding a sensitive field is no harder than hiding any other.
WHAT WE NEVER DO
We do not pad the grid. If there are four people near you, the app says four.
We do not store your IP address. There is no column for it, and our test suite checks that there still is not. If you turn on notifications, we keep the token your phone needs to receive them. There are no adverts, no third-party trackers, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
REPORTING REACHES A PERSON
Every profile and every message has a report option. Reports reach a human being and get a decision within 24 hours, and you are told the outcome. Blocking is mutual and immediate.
ONE ACTION DELETES EVERYTHING
Deleting your account removes the rows rather than flagging them, and the image files are erased in the same operation. You can also remove a single photo, a single message or any field on its own, without deleting anything else.
Free while we build it. The first 1000 verified accounts keep everything free for as long as the account stays active.
