About this app

FlashBridge is a professional Android tool for flashing and working with ESP devices over USB OTG — built for makers, embedded engineers, and field work.

Flash firmware from your phone. No laptop required for common ESP workflows.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Quick Flash — guided flashing for connected ESP boards
• Advanced Flash Studio — multi-binary layouts with address control
• Partition map & esptool-style command preview
• Firmware Library — import, organize, and reuse binaries
• Serial Console — monitor and talk to your device over UART
• Flash History — keep an engineering record of what you flashed
• Project profiles — save preferred device/firmware setups
• Guided tips — bootloader, OTG, and recovery help when you need it

BUILT FOR REAL HARDWARE

FlashBridge uses Android USB host to detect boards, request permission, and run flash/console sessions on-device. Your firmware files and history stay on your phone unless you choose to export or share them.

Designed for ESP workflows (including ESP32-class devices) with clear progress, errors, and recovery guidance.

WHO IT’S FOR

• Embedded developers flashing boards at the bench
• Makers programming ESP projects without a PC
• Field engineers updating firmware on site
• Anyone who wants a focused mobile ESP flash toolkit

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

• Local-first — core flashing happens on your device
• Clear flash progress and failure recovery
• Advanced multi-partition layouts for power users
• Console handoff after a successful flash
• Dark, engineering-focused UI for long sessions

GETTING STARTED

1. Connect your ESP board with a USB-OTG capable Android phone/tablet
2. Allow USB permission when prompted
3. Choose firmware (library, bundled sample, or custom file)
4. Flash — then open Console if you need serial output

TIPS

• Use a quality data USB cable (not charge-only)
• Some phones need an OTG adapter
• Put the board in download/bootloader mode if auto-reset isn’t available
• Keep USB connected during flashing

PRIVACY

FlashBridge is built as a local engineering utility. It does not require an account. Firmware and flash records remain on your device unless you export/share them. See our privacy policy on the store listing for details.

Launch animation of a phone USB-linked to an ESP board, with data flowing through the cable and the board LED lighting up
After a flash, a clear RESET reminder, then Connect on Devices, then Console — Console stays locked until the board is connected
Identify chip as a full-width button at the bottom of device Details, under Manufacturer
Read real chip and flash-size details from the board (family, MAC, flash size, and more) before you flash
