Welcome to TableSocial — where neighbors become friends, one meal at a time.
TableSocial combines eating out with building real connection. It works for any large group that shares two things: Commonality and Communication. Look at where you Live, Work, Play, or Pray — a neighborhood, workplace, large church, or similar. If you can reach that group (via Facebook, Nextdoor, newsletter, etc.), you can start a TableSocial.
WHY WE DO THIS
The best communities are ones where people actually know each other. Shared meals break down walls and turn a place to live into a real community.
WHERE & WHEN
The host picks any restaurant or food spot and any time. No cooking and no one’s home is involved. The only rule is face-to-face connection over food.
HOSTING A MEAL
Choose place and time.
Post accurate details (address, website/menu, date, time, seats—typically 6–8).
Make a reservation if possible.
Update the app immediately if anything changes.
Greet guests by photo, make introductions, and set a welcoming tone.
Everyone pays for their own order.
Check guests in via the app. No-shows are tracked.
JOINING A MEAL
Browse upcoming meals.
Request a seat (first-come, first-served; one seat per person).
Show up, meet neighbors, and pay for what you order.
GETTING STARTED
Sign up with email (free). We verify your email and ask you to self-attest that you’re a current community member.
Anyone can browse; registration is required to host or claim seats.
Joining and hosting are free for members.
After meals, hosts rate guest reliability and guests rate the hosting experience. Ratings are visible to the community.

Any group with commonality + a way to communicate can launch a TableSocial. Name it, share the link, and members join themselves. Setup is quick; your first meal can happen within a week.

No one shares personal contact information. Emails are never visible to other members. All messaging stays inside the app. Your email is used only for notifications and verification—never shared, sold, or used for ads.
