About this app

TableSync Staff is the employee app for restaurants that run on the TableSync platform. It runs on a restaurant-enrolled Android device and gives floor teams the day-to-day tools they need: signing in, managing their shift, serving tables and sending orders to the kitchen.

Secure, role-aware access
Choose your name and sign in with your employee PIN. What you can do depends on your role and on the permissions the restaurant has given the device. Locking the app or signing out never clocks you out.

Your shift
Clock in, clock out and record breaks from My shift. Attendance is recorded on the restaurant's TableSync account, so managers see the same record you do.

Tables and rounds
See the floor, open a table and add rounds to a visit. Each round shows what was sent, with the running bill summary for the table.

Orders, options and notes
Build orders from the restaurant's published menu. Choose sizes and options, add preparation notes for the kitchen, and send. Unfinished orders can be held on the device and picked up from Orders.

Manager approval and availability
Where the restaurant allows it, a manager can approve a protected change, such as marking an item unavailable, without switching the signed-in employee.

Customer lookup
Where the restaurant grants it, look up a customer by telephone and attach their name and number to an order.

Works through connection problems
Saved menus and table information stay available when the connection drops. Approved employees can keep taking orders offline; saved work is sent when the connection returns and stays attributed to the employee who took it. Clocking, customer lookup and manager approval need a connection.

Part of TableSync
TableSync Staff works alongside TableSync POS for front-of-house sales and service and TableSync Kitchen for production. Orders sent from Staff appear on the restaurant's kitchen display and in the TableSync dashboard.

This app requires a TableSync restaurant account, device enrolment by the restaurant and an employee PIN. It is a business tool for restaurant staff, not a consumer ordering app. It does not take payments, print receipts or connect to kitchen hardware.
