Car Tablet Auto Power Lock uses the Android AccessibilityService API to deliver its core automated screen-off and locking functionality:

• Core Purpose: To automatically turn off and lock the device screen when vehicle ignition / charger power is disconnected. This is essential for dashboard-mounted tablets where physical power buttons are recessed, covered, or inaccessible while driving.
• How It Is Used: When vehicle power disconnection is detected, the app invokes Android's performGlobalAction(GLOBAL_ACTION_LOCK_SCREEN) system command to safely sleep the display.
• Privacy & Data Protection: The AccessibilityService API is used SOLELY for locking the screen. The app DOES NOT read, monitor, record, collect, or transmit any on-screen content, window text, personal information, keystrokes, audio, or user inputs.
• User Control: Enabling the Accessibility Service is completely optional. A prominent disclosure dialog is presented before enabling, and users can enable or revoke this permission at any time within Android Settings.
