About this app

Pay once. No ads. No account. Try everything free for 7 days, then one payment unlocks TackNote for good. No subscription, ever.

TackNote puts your notes on a corkboard you can actually see, and lets a note find you when you need it.

Tack a note to a place
Open any note, tap the pin, and tack it where you are standing. The next time you arrive, your phone lets you know, even with TackNote closed: the hardware store, the level of the garage you parked on, the door you always forget something behind.

Record and transcribe
Record a voice note or a whole meeting. Recording keeps going with the screen off and your phone in your pocket, and TackNote types it out using your phone's own speech recognition. If recording is interrupted, what it had is saved as a note.

Meeting summaries on your phone
On supported phones, such as Pixel 9 and newer and Galaxy S25 and newer, TackNote can add a short summary above a long transcript using Gemini Nano, which runs on the phone itself. Your words never leave the device, and the full transcript and recording are always kept.

Reminders that stick
Set a reminder on any note. Reminders and place alerts come back on their own after your phone restarts.

Organize without the fuss
Everything starts on the board. When you want more order, file notes into projects and sub-folders, and add pictures and recordings to any note.

Private by design
Your notes are encrypted on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking. When Android backs up your phone, your notes are included only if the backup is encrypted with your screen lock, so nobody else can read them.

Pay once
Everything works free for 7 days, with nothing to sign up for. After that, your notes stay readable and yours to keep, and a single in-app purchase unlocks TackNote for good. No subscription, no weekly charge, no ads.
