Inkwell is a PDF reader and document toolkit built to actually do the work, not just preview a file before asking you to pay for the rest.

Read and view
Open any PDF on your device, then pinch to zoom, select and copy text, and tap links — to a page in the document or out to the web. Switch between normal, night and sepia reading modes for comfortable reading at any hour, and print straight from your phone. Your library organizes itself: point Inkwell at a folder, such as Documents or Downloads, and every PDF inside shows up automatically. No need to grant access to your whole device.

Scan and sign
Turn a paper page into a PDF with your camera, then straighten it with an adjustable crop. Draw your signature once and it stays on your device, ready to apply to any document from then on.

Text from scans, on your device
Inkwell can read the text inside a scanned page or a photographed document and turn it into text you can search, copy and share. Recognition runs entirely on your phone: nothing is uploaded, it works with no internet connection, and it works from the very first launch, with no extra download and no account.

A full toolkit
Combine several PDFs into one, or break one file into parts. Reorder, rotate or delete pages. Type into a PDF's own form fields. Stamp text across every page. Turn photos or screenshots into a single PDF. Shrink oversized scans and photos so a file is easier to share.

Inkwell has a complete Vietnamese interface. Switch languages from your phone's settings; on Android 13 and up you can set a language for this app alone, without changing any other app.

What’s new

"Continue reading" now behaves: it appears only when you're partway through a longer document, clears itself when you finish or when the file is gone, and can be dismissed with a tap — your place in every document is still remembered. Reader tools, the settings switch and the main buttons are now labelled for screen readers.
