Sheikh Taha Al-Fashni was born in Beni Suef Governorate in 1900. He is a Qur’an reciter and religious chanter. He memorized the Holy Qur’an, then learned the recitations. He joined the Egyptian Radio in 1937 and was chosen as president of the Readers’ Association after Sheikh Abdel Fattah Al-Shasha’i in 1962.
