Yoruba Language is widely spoken in Nigeria and around the world with many Yoruba people and children living in many countries of the world.
This Talkasoft app ensures that the Yoruba culture and tradition is kept from generation to generation. The app teaches users how to read, write and pronounce Yoruba Language.
The app also teaches exact pronunciation of translated language by relating the translated data to the actual meaning of the English data e.g. “light” can mean illumination and can also mean a not too heavy load. The app teaches the end user how to pronounce accurately this type of translations and distinguish one similarly pronounced words from another.
The app also uses English phrase translations to ensure accurate understanding of the Yoruba language.
This professional version enables users to update the translated data if they are using it to teach others as there are many ways to speak a language. It also enable users to create new data translations, record and play back or delete audio Yoruba data, record and play back or delete dialog audio Yoruba data.
Dialog audio data helps to elaborate on the translated Yoruba data and may be used to teach the user what to expect in reply to what they are saying to local speakers of the language. This professional version can also be used to backup and restore newly created data.
This app also comes with picture illustrations where appropriate to help with better understanding of the translations.
Quiz modes both basic and advance quiz with result display is also available to test your knowledge at various level is also available.
Intuitive user configurations and calendar notifications to use the app is incorporated in the app design, to ensure that you continue to practice your learning.

More proverb will do and instead of saying 1.1, 1.2 you can say 'tabi" and how come the part of the body does not include "penis and vagina " in Yoruba language. Pls update this so we can learn it please. Thanks but good job so far

Thanks for your comments, please note that Yoruba is a very interesting language with many ways of saying the same thing and sometimes simple greetings if not said correctly can mean an insult hence the use of demarcations to help beginners to understand the language. Please note that the app enables you to add and build your own data as you like.

I loved this app until it started setting appointments on my Google calendar and inviting friends from my contact list. That really pissed me off!

Thanks for your comment, however please note that "the app was never designed to invite anyone but yourself" to use the app at determined intervals and this was in your calendar as a standard reminder, please check your phone again as no one else has ever made such comments regarding this app.

What's new
This release conforms with the latest Android 13 and above and some bug fixes. Camera request is for the user to capture images to illustrate and support the language translations.
