About this app

Talkative Parents bridges the communication gaps between parents of school going children and schools and gives them a large array of dedicated beneficial services.

We built Talkative Parents to allow parents to connect and chat with each other in the right groups, connect with the school and the teaching staff seamlessly and bring all the stakeholders of the schooling ecosystem together in one single platform.

FEATURES:

GET SORTED AUTOMATICALLY: Parents are sorted into a group with other parents of their child/s class

GET NOTICES: Schools once registered can send parents notices on the app

GET any concerns or queries regarding your child's schooling addressed in real-time

GET SHARING WITH GROUP CHAT and PEER TO PEER: With talkative parents, you are part of a group of parents, parents of the other children in your child’s class. Parents can chat in the group, quickly share pictures and videos with fellow parents.

GET RELIABILITY: Built to deliver your messages in the minimum bytes possible.

GET PRIVACY: We take your privacy seriously and that’s why none of your phone numbers or email ids are shared through the app.

GET SECURE: Report unknown or fraudulent users in your group by going to contacts selecting that user and reporting him or her, we will do the rest.

Ratings and reviews

This is one of the worst app experiences I have ever encountered so far. Messages does not load properly. If it does, it takes forever to load. After the last update, devs even sent a message asking us to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to work again. They can't even update it without bothering the users. It's a shame that one of the premium daycare and school providers in Sri Lanka is using this app for the purpose of communication while there are a lot of better apps out there.

Why does this app request GPS location and ability to take photos and record audio/video, not allowed to continue without giving such? How does such data is used by this kind an app?

No idea why. App was giving error server side. And when logged in showed details of a student in a different school. Very serious issue .
