About this app

TallyExpress is a mobile app for measuring edged and unedged lumber. Take a picture of the bundle and check the results immediately! Using artificial intelligence, the application detects the boards on its own, calculates the widths, the volume and outputs a tally report. All the measurements can be shared with your business partners or sent into your inventory management system.

INVENTORY

TallyExpress does more than measuring bundles of lumber. It helps you keep track of your inventory, store the data, save and share measurements. TallyExpress is the best tool for inventory: after the measurements are done, you can export your tally files in CSV, XLS, PDF or connect with your inventory system through our API. You can even print ZPL tags!

MULTIPLE LENGTHS

After taking the picture, fill in the form with details of the bundle, including length dimensions. In the next step, you can mark the odd lengths either individually, or in clusters using the button in the lower left corner.

MULTIPLE USERS

TallyExpress helps your team stay connected. You can have more users in one account, and assign one supervisor who will check all the measurements done in the sawmill, modify them, ask to redo, lock, archive or delete.

The app is available in 8 languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, Simplified Chinese and Russian. For each of these languages, we provide support from TallyExpress agents that will help you with any questions.

This review is coming from a workers prospective. My company just switched to the new system a few weeks ago. It literally slows the entire tally process down by at least 50% The old tally software had everything on 1 easy interface. Took 2-5 minutes to count and tally a pack, tag on it Done! In a perfect world with perfectly stacked packs This might work, otherwise it's fixing an AIs mistakes on a computer all day, while my forklift driver waits. This one can't even do Linear footage

Seems to work well, We have experienced problems with certain colors of end seal on Lumber causing the phone to warn us of a blurry picture, Blue being the worst. Must have to do with the reference square colors matching the end seal paint

I like the app. A lot of information. I just wish it didn't take so long to tally a truck load. 12 lots of lumber is taking me 40 - 45 mins.
