The Volume Normalizer Player is an application that automatically normalizes the volume of multiple audio files in a folder. It eliminates the hassle of having to adjust the volume every time you play back files due to varying volumes from song to song or recording to recording.
The volume is analyzed based on the average volume (RMS) of the entire file, resulting in a natural finish that takes into account the perceived difference between files with a brief loud sound and files with consistently loud sounds. It also features a soft limiter that gently suppresses only the moments where the sound might distort if gain is applied, preventing unnatural distortion.
Supported formats include WAV, MP3, OGG, M4A, and AAC for reading, and WAV or M4A (AAC) for export. The target volume can be freely adjusted with a slider, and you can also preview the set volume as a sample sound on the spot.
Processed files are automatically saved in the folder, and there is also a function to export them all to your preferred location.
