Sparrows is a word strategy game that combines Mahjong tile mechanics with Scrabble-style scoring. Spell words from letter tiles, chain score multipliers, and work through a growing library of handcrafted levels.

Level Mode
Progress through levels and earn 1–3 stars based on your performance. Each level has a specific objective:

• Score Goal – reach the target score to earn your stars
• Tile Clear – clear as many tiles as possible before the board runs out
• Earn Gold Feathers for strong performance and spend them on power-ups

Game Modes
• Timed – find as many words as you can before time runs out
• Moves – plan carefully, you only have a limited number of plays
• Puzzle – clear tiles arranged in specific patterns

Score Multipliers
Double Letter, Triple Letter, Double Word, and Triple Word tiles reward clever, strategic play.

Power-Ups
Use power-ups to overcome tough boards and boost your score at the right moment.

I want to start off by saying I love this game alot. Its a very unique take on word puzzle games and the art is freaking adorable. I'm only giving two stars because I unlocked the game before the feather currentcy was established but now it is forcing me to either pay again or use feathers to unlock puzzles. I don't think it's fair because I already paid. And I've tried to contact customer support with no reply :/ I really want to enjoy this game again fully since I paid for it.

this is such an excellent game, I am so glad to have found it earlier on! it's well made, I have yet to have any bugs or issues. the 3 stock game modes all keep my attention. there are 2 game modes that are locked (3.99 each), but I do not feel like I am missing out without them. power ups use word points, not currency, and you can play without interruptions (at least for now). I also like the multiple colour choices!

I discovered this game through Tumblr ads. I have been playing it a bunch! The color palettes are pretty bad! They're either an eyesore, or they make the layers harder to distinguish. When a tile is highlighted as "available", it loses the color of the layer it belongs to. Without color, I'll forget to clear a relevant top-level tile and run out of word options, unable to spawn the next layer. Also, I only play Moves, so the monetized features are useless to me. How will this app make money?
