About this game
Tank64 is a modern remake of the cult classic game 'Tanks' (Battle City), available on both PC and smartphones. Textures are 8-bit styled but completely redesigned and adapted for a modern visual aesthetic. Smooth animations and adaptive sound have been added: volume and direction depend on the sound source's location.
New gameplay features:
Free movement: Tanks can move in any direction (360 degrees).
Updated weaponry:
Split: Standard bullets. Reloads after the previous bullet is destroyed. This provides an advantage in close combat, as bullets explode more frequently on close impact.
Electra: Fires electric orbs that slightly ricochet off walls. A hit paralyzes the enemy for a short time.
Ricochet: Bullets ricochet off walls, allowing for effective attacks from cover.
Storm: A machine gun with a high rate of fire but reduced damage.
Laser: A powerful laser beam capable of hitting multiple targets in its path. Suitable for long-range combat but has a long cooldown.
Tank hulls:
Spark: A light tank with minimal armor. Its small size and high maneuverability make it ideal for swift attacks.
Jet: The only wheeled tank. The fastest, but with minimal protection.
Pulsar: A versatile tank with well-balanced stats.
Ram: A heavy armored tank with the strongest protection but slow speed.
