Tapora is a two-thumb rhythm game built around one idea: the music is the clock.
Hold your phone in landscape, thumbs on the glass, and hit the beat across a grid of 15 impact points. Colour tells you which hand. Shape tells you which row. Everything else is timing.
FIFTEEN TARGETS, TWO THUMBS
Three rows of five positions, reachable without ever lifting your thumbs. Slide from one target to the next — a hit is a circle crossing, not a tap. Triangles on the top row, squares in the middle, circles at the bottom.
NOTES THAT ASK MORE THAN A TAP
Taps, holds, swipes along a path, flicks with a direction, double notes for both hands at once, and multi-taps that demand a fresh contact every time. Half-beat notes turn yellow so you see the off-beat coming.
TIMING YOU CAN TRUST
Perfect within 25 ms, Great within 55 ms, Good within 90 ms. Nothing is judged on where a note looks like it is — only on when you hit it. Built-in latency calibration lines the game up with your headphones and your screen.
TEN ORIGINAL TRACKS
Every song is written for the game, grouped into sets, with a guided tutorial to start. Four difficulties per track, derived from the same chart so the choreography stays coherent as it gets denser.
SCORE, COMBO, MULTIPLIER
Perfect 500, Great 350, Good 150. A ten-notch gauge pushes your multiplier up to x6 and drops it on every miss. End-of-run stats break down every judgement.
