TapSleep – Screen Off Button

TapSleep puts a slim, draggable edge handle on the side of your screen. One tap opens the panel — another turns your display off instantly, exactly like pressing the physical power button.

Why TapSleep?
Reaching for the power button every time you set your phone down gets old fast. TapSleep gives you an always-visible shortcut right where your thumb already is.

Every button has its own colour. Choose from 3 panel sizes — Small, Medium, and Large — to match your style and hand size.

Move the panel to the left edge with a single toggle.

✅ Launch on restart / reboot
App can be enabled to launch on restart, it is not required to launch the edge panel after each rebbot or restart. By enabling this feature app will automatically launch edge panel on each restart or reboot.

TapSleep runs as a minimal foreground service. No background sync, no data collection, no battery drain.

✅ Works over every app
The panel floats over your home screen, games, videos — everywhere.

How it works
TapSleep uses Android's Accessibility Service to perform the screen-off action — the same safe, standard method used by the power button. It does not read your screen, record input, or access data from other apps.

Permissions used:
— Draw over other apps — to display the edge panel
— Accessibility Service — to turn the screen off
— Notifications — to keep the service active in the foreground (Android 13+)
