Tap helps children who don't speak — or speak only a little — say what they want.

Tap a picture and it speaks aloud. Tap a few and they line up into a simple sentence, then the green button says the whole thing. That's the entire idea, and the child's screen never gets more complicated than that.

Built for little hands and sensitive senses: warm colours, no noise, no clutter, nothing flashing for attention.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Around 600 picture words across 22 categories, plus a Recent row and one-tap Quick Phrases
• Speaks in 27 languages with the natural voices already on your phone
• Four board sizes — a few big cards for a beginner, more smaller ones as your child grows. A word keeps the same spot at every size, so muscle memory holds
• Add your own cards from a photo, with the background lifted away automatically
• Replace any word's picture with your own — your cup, your dog, your grandma
• Record your own voice for a word. A familiar voice can be easier for a child to recognise than a computer one
• "Say it as…" pronunciation fix for names the computer voice gets wrong
• Search, hide and reorder words to fit one particular child
• A progress log for parents and therapists — most-used words, a weekly chart, CSV export

FOR THE GROWN-UPS
Everything configurable sits behind a PIN in Parent Mode, so the child's board stays calm and nothing gets changed by accident. One-step undo if it does.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No accounts. No ads. No analytics. No data collected. Your photos, your recordings and your child's usage log stay on the device — there's a backup file you can save yourself, and no cloud we could put it in.

Tap gives a child who doesn't speak a way to be heard: they tap a picture, Tap says the word out loud, and taps build into a sentence they can speak in one press.

This first release has the full picture library of around 600 words, 27 languages, four card sizes that grow with your child, your own photos and recorded voice, quick phrases, First-Then, and a private progress log.
