Your Services, Your Choice
TapTrans itself does not provide translation services. You bring your own API keys from the providers you already use. This means:
• You keep full control over your data and usage
• No additional subscription fees for the translation itself
• Use the services and pricing plans you already know

Privacy First:
• This app uses the Accessibility Service API solely for the Google Lens OCR translation feature. When you enable "Use Google Lens for OCR" in settings, the accessibility service detects when Google Lens opens and automatically taps the "Translate" button. This service only monitors window state changes within Google Lens and performs a single tap gesture. It does not read, collect, or store any content displayed on the screen. This feature is entirely optional and requires your explicit consent before activation.
• All translation data is processed ephemerally over HTTPS. Your API keys are stored locally on your device and are never shared with anyone.

Note: TapTrans is a client tool — it does not provide its own translation backend. You must configure at least one translation service with your own API credentials before use.
