About this app

Tasks4Access helps families connect everyday responsibilities with screen time.

YOU STAY IN CONTROL
Only the parent decides what is locked, and only the apps the parent selects are restricted. Nothing is locked automatically, and children cannot choose or change what is locked. Tracking and safety apps, such as location sharing and family tracking apps, are not locked by Tasks4Access. Neither are phone calls, messaging and other communication apps. They stay available to your child unless you choose to restrict them yourself.

HOW IT WORKS
1. A parent creates a task
2. The parent chooses the apps it controls
3. The child completes the task and submits it for review
4. The parent approves it to unlock the selected apps, or sends it back with a private note explaining what needs more work
5. The selected apps become available, for a set time or permanently

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
On your child's Android device, Tasks4Access uses Android's Accessibility Service for one purpose only: to detect which app is currently open, so it can show a lock screen over the apps you have chosen to restrict until the task is approved. It does not read what is on the screen, your messages, passwords or anything that is typed. You are asked for permission before it is turned on, and you can turn it off at any time in Android settings. If it is turned off, a warning appears on the parent's dashboard.

PRIVACY
No advertising and no ad tracking. Optional usage analytics and crash reports are off unless a parent turns them on, and nothing is collected from child devices for analytics. Full privacy policy: https://tasks4access.com/privacy/
