Very good and straightforward app. Definitely the best I've tried with no ads or subscriptions. I would love to see a future update that allows the ability to hear the selected scale (ideally starting at different points). That would make it easier to run through them quickly if I'm looking for a particular sound/feel. The app can currently play the individual notes when tapped. The app is close to perfect already, and that feature would easily push this to 5 stars for me.

Updating review to 5 stars. After receiving refund, I heard back from developer that the crashing issue was fixed in next update. So just repurchased again this morning and updated it and now app runs well. I like how clean and simple UI is! Makes exploring scales easy! One feature request: would be great to be able to display other notes on the strings that are not part of current scale (maybe in non-highlighted format), and also allow you to play those notes as well.

hi,
in the 1.54 version - the "outside notes" feature is available as an option in Properties. Cheers.

The app before the update was more responsive as the strings didn't light up across the screen, however it is a fantastic app and as much as I was happy with the older version, the hesitation is probably my phone. I'm talking milliseconds which is a noticeable difference, but the purpose of this purchase was to improve the way I play guitar, and I must say it has been a game changer for this drummer that tries to play guitar.

Thank you for the feedback. The latest update (2.0.17) addresses the responsiveness, you may give it a try. Regards
