The app is Bluetooth only for me. It refuses to allow me to login with my account for the wifi feature so that function is 100% useless to me. 2 stars do to the Bluetooth feature but I can just walk outside and look at it since I can't be very far from it before it disconnects that feature as well. I paid way to much for my smoker to not have all features available. Tried everything to get it to work. Same thing everytime.

okay ... yes it gives me the info... but here is the thing. Everytime the temp falls 1 degree and then gets back up to temp, it notifies me... like there should be a window of +/- 5 degrees where it doesn't notify. no temperature control for a smoker is going to perfectly hold 225 indefinitely.... but I DO need to know if it drops significantly enough for me to check. Like oh 5 degrees down... maybe the pellets are not feeding or are out. but seriously 40 notifications every 30 minutes is bad.

It kind of works, now! As of 8/18, the application works to some degree.. as long you don't rotate the screen or let the screen ever time out. Does not appear to be compatible with WPA3 settings at this time. If you're having issues, it might be router settings. I had to set up a guest network with WPA2 security, without a VPN, and it worked. Again, so long as I did absolutely nothing to disturb it... so like, for 30seconds at a time.
