It keeps crashing. Understand it is better supported on Apple. I use Android. I have PLS bulbar type which has rendered me unable to speak. Undependable on Android. Very frustrating. It is not cheap. Not able to use it consistently. Have to alternate with another text to speech application. If you would fix the bugs, I would rate it 5 stars. Update did not fix the crashing.
Excellent app so pleased it's on Android as well now I'm a specialist AAC SLT. I see lots of clients requiring accurate word prediction and easy phrase creation to minimize the number of keystrokes. Predictable is the best at this.
Would Be Great if It Worked I paid a lot of money to have this app for my daughter on her iPad. The only thing that was "predictable" about this app is that it would crash after about word or two. So when it was made available on Android devices I was hopeful the bugs would be worked out and it would perform better. It's actually even worse. I should take a video and post it. I type one word, just one and it crashes, over and over and over. That's frustrating for anyone but unacceptable for someone who needs the app for communication.
Great app! This app has been very useful to many clients who have difficulty communicating but are literate and able to use a keyboard. The Quick Phrases are a great feature! The Android version of this app works exactly like the iOS version making it easy for clinicians to switch between devices without any new learning.
Intuitive I liked this on the iPad and it is great to see it on Android now. It is an easy to use AAC app that is predominantly text based for the literate user. Benefits from prediction and custom stored phrases plus a novel use of sound fx.
