Awaléa is the African strategy board game Awalé — also known as Oware, Ouri, or Mancala. It's a game of sowing and capturing seeds across a wooden board, played across Africa for centuries and passed down from one generation to the next.

The rules are simple to pick up but the game runs deep. You sow seeds around the board, capture your opponent's, and try to starve their side to win. Every move is a small calculation, and good players think several turns ahead.

Ways to play:
- Offline against the computer, with several difficulty levels
- Online ranked matches with an ELO rating
- Against friends, with invites and rematches

Online play:
- Find an opponent in a few seconds

The game follows the classic Awalé / Oware rules. Matches can be quick or turn into long tactical battles, depending on how you and your opponent play.

The app is built to stay out of your way: a clean board, simple controls you can use with one hand, and sound you can turn off. There's an optional subscription to remove ads if you'd rather play without them.
