Ratings and reviews

The app is good and worked with far fewer delays when the race was in progress than previous years but it's not yet perfect. I was cycling and unable to look at each notification and often had 5-10 stacked up. The text in the notification banner is truncated so time not visible. I couldn't find any way of looking at notifications on the app and the info on a runner's tab often did not update until several minutes after a notification was received.

Slow searching for a person. There's no indication the search is in progress, but it did work. Enter name, then press magnifying glass on keyboard. "Done" just cleared the search when I expected it to mean "I'm done entering my search criteria, now do the search" I think a better word would be "Clear". 2 stars for now because it did find my runner - I reserve judgement for performance on the day under load. Update: on the day tracking worked. Didn't like screenshot blackout poor rate for that.

as a follower of participants, the theory was good. to see where the runner was, it appears they have to invite followers to see their personal route. followers can share, but not the personal routes. App drops out regularly so difficult to follow accurately. slow to update progress at times too. Good, but could be better.
