Learn Japanese for beginners the way it sticks: by speaking it. Haruto: Learn Japanese is your AI conversation partner at a small café in Tokyo. Practise real Japanese conversation, learn hiragana and katakana, and build JLPT N5 vocabulary and grammar through a daily story and chats that feel like texting a friend.

Most apps teach you words. Haruto teaches you to talk. Every day a new story scene brings you back to his counter in Shimokitazawa, and each scene teaches one small grammar point you use straight away. Then you text him, and he answers with words you already know.
