Project description: The permanently changing environment, the driving force of which is increasingly demanding customer requirements, demographic changes, development in technology and globalization, requires tourism entities to adapt their offer.
For this reason, the applicant Bánovská RRA in participation with RRA Východní Moravy decided to provide full-fledged innovative services using an application with virtual tours of historical monuments of the border region from the Middle Ages. The project is conceived as a tourist product with the use of modern technologies, which will attract the attention of visitors in an entertaining way, which will contribute to the fact that visitors will not only get a greater experience, but also better remember more information.
Project goal: The main goal of the project implementation is the introduction of an innovative service supporting the use of the potential of cultural heritage in the border region.
Project results: The output of the project is a complete product in the form of a single application containing 10 virtual tours that evaluate the common cultural heritage from the Middle Ages. Virtual tours consist of castles located in the Trenčín and Zlín regions, which are: Beckov, Tematín, Čachtický, Lednica, Uhrovský, Brumov, Lukov, Malenovice, Kurovice and Cimburk castles.
