TEAC HR Streamer is a high-definition audio player application for the Android tablet/smartphone, designed to work with TEAC Network Audio Players.

TEAC HR Streamer allows Android tablet/smartphone users to conveniently manage network audio playback on their devices, enriching the experience by displaying cover art and allowing the creation of custom playlists etc.

・ The system automatically reads tagged information in advance and pre-fetches album art images, allowing users to quickly browse through libraries.

・The easy-to-read screen is divided into three panels: playlist, music selection and playback operation.
・Album art is neatly tiled.
・Album art uses high resolution imagery which can be enlarged or reduced for viewing.

Content can be searched by keyword and also can be sorted by song name, album title, artist, composer, genre, and year of recording.

Ratings and reviews

Unbelievably obtuse. Has three screens, two of which contain no information what they are supposed to be used for (or how). Flash drives and HDDs fail to show up. Roon core servers are discovered, but fail to load any files to display or access (and my Room core server fails completely to "see" any Teac Roon devices such as the NT-505.

How can we enable Tidal Connect? I have upgraded to firmware 1.3 and also updated the network driver, but Tidal still cannot see the unit nor from phone or PC. The hr app doesnt have on/off like it has for spotify connect. Please help

Very poorly designed app. Disappointing as my NR-7CD doesn't pair directly with my Samsung 9+ so I can avoid it. My I-pad DOES pair to the NR-7CD, luckily. Sad that they created this crummy app.
