About this app

CoverMe is the staff app for fitness studios that run on MarianaTek. It replaces the group text when a class needs a substitute, the front desk needs cover, or the team just needs to hear from you.

FOR INSTRUCTORS
• Request a sub for one or more of your classes in a few taps, with a reason and a note.
• Invites go only to teammates who can actually teach it: matching skills, available at that time, no overlapping class.
• Answer Yes, No or Maybe right from the push notification, or reply to the text or email.
• The first yes confirms the sub (or a manager approves, if the studio prefers) and the class is updated in MarianaTek automatically.
• My Schedule: your classes, the classes you're subbing and your desk shifts by day, week or month.
• A clear "Covered" confirmation the moment a sub is approved.

FOR MANAGERS
• A live board of every open, pending, approved and uncovered request for the week.
• Nudge non-responders, invite more people, or assign someone directly.
• Set a request deadline so open requests close early enough to plan around.
• Reminders before class, escalation when a class is still uncovered, and a daily digest.

TEAM COMMUNICATION
• Announcements: post to everyone, to instructors or to the front desk; pin the important ones, see who has read them, and send urgent notices as a text.
• Messages: 1:1 and small-group chats with teammates, inside the app, with unread counts and read receipts.
• Team directory with skills, locations, contact details and each person's schedule.

INSIGHTS FOR MANAGERS
• Coverage: requests by reason, time of day and weekday, and who answers invites.
• Reliability: late call-outs, back-outs, no-shows and late cancellations per person, with private manager notes.
• Classes: fill, attendance and show rate by instructor, by format and by weekday and hour, straight from MarianaTek.
• Individual insights: any person's monthly classes, attendance, utilization and coverage requests, side by side with a teammate.

FRONT DESK SHIFTS
• Publish shifts, let staff claim open ones, request cover and propose swaps.
• Reminders before shifts and alerts when a shift is still unfilled.

NOTIFICATIONS YOUR WAY
Push, email and text, per person and per event. Reply YES, MAYBE or NO to a text and it counts.
