The Totem App enhances your experience with the Totem Compass—the world-famous wearable device that helps you find your people without cell service or Wi-Fi.

Connect directly to your Totem Compass via Bluetooth to manage your Bonds, update software, access new features and view real-time maps—no account creation, no login, and no internet required.

Totem Compass Customization: Give your Totem Compass a name that will appear on other users’ Totem App when they Bond with you!

Your Totem Compass does not require the app to perform basic functions. All core features—including tracking, navigation, and Bonding—work independently, without ever needing a phone. The app simply gives you the option to customize your setup, monitor your Bonds, and streamline updates more easily.

My crew and I bought four totems for electric forest. I think it's important to let you all know that they did not work properly. I was unable to use your product the way it was designed due to flaws in GPS positioning. As I would walk towards one location, the color would move behind me, yet the person was nowhere around. This happened throughout the event the 2 days we tried. You guys have a great idea but it's failing in large groups as such. Hope it all gets worked out, it's a great concept.

App doesnt remember devices or updates, everytime I turn them on, I must repair using bluetooth and reupdate software. Even if i just turn it off and on because it froze. I dont know how this could be useful for anybody. Ive easily spent 4 hours going through the troubleshooting, and unpairing and repairing and nothing works. For example, i bond with someone and where I should change thier bond color, it changes mine, but keeps the name of mine, but map shows opposite colors.

It's a good start. making it easier to switch between Totems is a must. I'm not sure if maybe Android has a limit on requests, but it feels like the app crashes or times out a lot. force close the app and wait a few minutes before you can try again. Living on Long Island I was shocked to only see 1-2 satellite connections. Remaining connected was another issue.
