If your device has an AmoLED screen (which a lot of devices do nowadays), Pitch Black Wallpaper WILL save your battery. Don't bother trying to snap a "Black photo" background and then applying it as a wallpaper, because plain Black photos actually create a lot of "noise" and use up your battery! A very cool app! 👍🏼

This is an excellent all black wallpaper. It does exactly what it says it's going to do what's up a black wallpaper. Which I love cuz it's easier on my eyes and much easier on my battery. I think that's the biggest seller for this because if you're like me and you use your phone all day long for work the last thing you want is your battery getting prematurely drained because some stupid bright wallpaper

Does what it says. I didn't know why it had to be an app, but its clear now. It changes the background for you, and thoroughly, no matter the size of phone. utter black - not a single pixel pixel is on. so much so that their icon of a black rectangle became completely invisible against the black background.
