About this app

SwiftPass turns your event wristband into a way to pay.

Load it from MTN MoMo or Airtel Money before you arrive, then buy drinks
and food with a tap. No cash to carry, no change to count, no queue at the
bar while someone hunts for a five-thousand note.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Collect your wristband or card at the gate and link it in the app.
2. Top up from MTN MoMo, Airtel Money or a bank card.
3. Hold your band against the seller's phone. Done in under a second.

YOUR MONEY STAYS YOURS

Whatever you don't spend goes back to your own mobile money number. Not a
voucher, not credit that expires — your money, withdrawn to the number
registered on your account.

BUILT TO BE SAFE

Your balance lives on your account, not on the band. Lost the band? Block
it from the app and your money is untouched. Set a PIN and choose the
amount above which SwiftPass asks for it. Every tap appears in your
history with the amount, the seller and the time.

SELLING AT AN EVENT?

Switch to a business account and take tap payments at your stall. Watch
takings come in live, refund a mistake in two taps, and settle to your
account after the event with a full record of every sale.

RUNNING AN EVENT?

Publish your event, sell tickets in tiers, run the door, and approve the
sellers trading inside it — all on the same system your attendees already
have in their pocket.

SwiftPass is built in Kigali by Zafrionet Ltd. Payments are collected and
disbursed by Centrika Ltd through XentriPay, licensed by the National Bank
of Rwanda.

SwiftPass is not a bank and does not take deposits. Money held in a
SwiftPass wallet is for spending at participating events and can be
withdrawn to your own registered mobile money number.
