About this app

The HAItime app provides real-time reminders and feedback to improve hand hygiene, and prompts hospital doctors and other healthcare staff to assess and remove medical intravenous access devices and indwelling catheters that are potential sources of infection or no longer needed for patient care. A unique health service identification code enables confidential campus- and unit-specific data reporting of hand hygiene rates and numbers and types of medical devices flagged for removal.
