MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is a completely offline, decentralized messaging app that lets you chat with nearby friends without needing internet, Wi-Fi routers, or cell service.
By using your phone's built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct, MANET connects directly to other phones around you to form a "mesh network."
HOW IT WORKS: Unlike traditional chat apps that send your messages to a cloud server, MANET routes your messages directly from phone to phone. If the person you want to text is too far away for a direct connection, the app will automatically "multi-hop" your message through other nearby phones running the app until it reaches its destination!
