Scan a barcode and this ingredient checker looks the product up against millions of packaged foods. Every ingredient is checked against a reviewed, dated, sourced rules table — computed right there on your phone. The verdict names the one ingredient that decided it, quotes it straight off the label, and explains why in a single plain sentence.

If a product isn't in the database yet, your photo becomes the record. What you add is saved for the next shopper who scans that barcode — marked "added by one shopper, unconfirmed" until a second, independent scan matches it.

Pick your branch — Sunni or Shia — then your school: Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanbali or Ja'fari. Six switches cover the questions that recur: trace alcohol, animal rennet, ahl al-kitab slaughter, ambiguous emulsifiers, shellfish, transformed derivatives (istihala).
