ScanShield is a QR code and barcode scanner that checks what a code actually does before you open it — so you're never caught off guard by a malicious link, fake login page, or scam WiFi network hidden behind a scan.
Most scanner apps open a link the instant you scan it. ScanShield pauses first and shows you exactly what's inside: the full URL, the domain, whether it's HTTPS, and a safety score with the specific reasons behind it — so you decide whether it's worth opening.

Know before you open — every scan gets a safety score (0–100) based on HTTPS status, known URL shorteners, raw IP-address links, unusually long URLs, and phishing-style keywords like "verify," "login," or "wallet."
