About this app

Picture a designer at their desk, three browser tabs open, trying to
remember whether that brand blue was #2B3242 or #2B3342 — and whether
it'll even pass contrast against white text. ColorBench is built for
that exact moment.

At its center is a live five-format converter: type a value into
HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, or CMYK, and every other field updates instantly,
correctly rounded and clamped so you never end up with an invalid
color. From there, ColorBench grows into a full workbench:

- Palette Bench — build and name palettes of up to ten swatches,
reorder them, and keep them saved locally for every project
- Gradient Studio — construct two-to-five-stop linear or radial
gradients with proper easing control, then copy the CSS string
straight into your code
- Contrast Checker — pick a foreground and background and get
instant WCAG AA/AAA pass-fail badges, so accessibility is checked
before you ship, not after
- Saved Bench — a running local history of every conversion,
palette, and gradient you've built, ready to revisit or edit

Every number is rounded the way a working designer or developer
actually expects — RGB as clean integers, CMYK to one decimal,
HSL/HSV as whole percentages — so what you copy out is exactly what
you'll paste into your code or design tool. ColorBench doesn't try
to be everything; it's a focused, well-calibrated space for the one
job that eats up more time than it should: getting color exactly
right.
Convert, palette, and gradient — a precision color workbench.
