SECURITY AND PRIVACY

The app allows scanning with a user-selected device key, such as "Volume Up." To enable this feature, manually activate Accessibility Services for Scan-IT to Office. Granting this permission provides the app far-reaching access rights. These rights are used solely for detecting the specified key press. No other data is collected, processed, or stored.

Amazing on qr codes. Not sure if I was doing something wrong on regular barcodes but that was painful to get it to scan regular barcodes.... Zoom in zoom out light on light off no rhyme or reason to when it would scan it. QR codes though boom boom boom no issues at all. So giving this 5/5 in spite of the barcode issue and I was using the free version

Scanning options include transferring the barcode as text with a timestamp or a photo of the barcode with a timestamp. If the receiving devices is offline, you can also email your scan history. The timestamp is part of the file name. At this point I'm trying to determine how to pair a Tablet with a laptop - to use the tablet as the scanner for sending the history into a central repository.
