Remember the late nights on the chat lines of the 80s? The glowing screen, the list of strangers online, the thrill of waiting for a reply? Chatline 1980 Tribute brings that feeling back, on your phone.

A LIVE CHAT ROOM, 1980s STYLE
Log in and you see everyone who's online right now, with their name and country, just like the videotex chat lines of the 80s (Videotel, Minitel). Touch a name to write a private message. When someone writes to you, a window pops up: read it, reply, ignore it, or postpone it.

MADE TO FEEL LIKE THE ORIGINAL
- Retro terminal look: blue and gold screen, monospace text, scanlines
- One room, real time: people join and leave as you watch
- Private messages one at a time, with SEND, IGNORE and HOME
- Several messages from the same person arrive together, like "Francy (3)"
- Search the list by name, or filter it by country

SIMPLE AND PRIVATE
- Just a username and a password: no email, no phone number, no personal data needed
- No GPS: next to your name you only see the country of your connection
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics
- Messages waiting for you are deleted after 24 hours

STAY IN THE CHAT
Switch to another app or turn off the screen and you stay online: new messages arrive as notifications. Tap Exit, or EXIT CHAT in the notification, whenever you want to leave.

YOU ARE IN CONTROL
- Ignore someone for 8 hours, or block them for good
- Report insults, threats, spam or anything else: the moderators check every report
- Delete your account from the app at any time (Profile > DELETE ACCOUNT)

The room may also include a few automated characters, to keep the conversation going when it's quiet.
