About this app

XPTrack Inventory is the handheld app for the XPTrack asset and inventory management system from Telaeris. Use it to check equipment in and out, look up items, move them between locations, and keep your records accurate from anywhere on site instead of at a desk or on paper.
The app connects to your organization's XPTrack server, and you sign in with an account issued by your administrator.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Check out and check in: assign an item to a person, a job, or a company with a scan, and take it back the same way.
- Item assignments: see everything currently issued to a user, job, company, or location, and spot what has not come back.
- Transfers: move items between locations, or hand a whole set of items from one person or job over to another.
- Item mode: pull up a single item and review its record - description, category, item type, current status, location, and who holds it.
- Add and update items: create records in the field, edit details, change an item's status, and attach photos taken with the device camera.
- Bulk receiving: take in a shipment by scanning tag after tag instead of entering each item by hand.
- Multi-scan: capture many tags in one pass, then review the batch before committing it.
- Search: find items by tag, barcode, or description, and browse the users, jobs, companies, and locations they belong to.
- Finder mode: home in on one specific tagged item using live signal strength, so you can locate it in a full storeroom or a crowded yard.
WORKS WITH YOUR HARDWARE
XPTrack Inventory reads UHF RFID tags through Telaeris XPID handhelds and RF Prisma readers over Bluetooth, and scans 1D and 2D barcodes with the device camera. Without a reader attached, set the reader type to None and work entirely by barcode or manual entry.
KEEPS WORKING WHEN THE NETWORK DOES NOT
Warehouses, yards, and job sites have dead spots. XPTrack Inventory saves your work to an encrypted database on the device and syncs it up to the server once the connection returns, so a lost signal never costs you a count. Sessions log out on their own after a set period of inactivity to protect data on shared devices.
