Compare your list of names with your partner's, or even on your own.

Each parent (or single parent) creates their own list secretly, each list being password-protected. You can browse the list of names alphabetically, view the top 100 for a specific year, or even add an unusual name not found in the database (INSEE). For most common names, an etymological information sheet (origin, trends over the years) will be available.

The list—or the two lists combined, in duo mode—is shuffled, and then two names face off in each duel, over several rounds. In each duel, you keep only one name, then move on to the next duel, and finally to the next round. Gradually, your list will shrink until only 3 or 4 names remain, marking the end of the battle. Your final choice may then be based on this shortlist.

You can export the battle summary to a PDF to keep as a keepsake.

The idea behind this app is to provide a fun tool for parents to select, or even choose, the name of their future baby.

This app is in no way a substitute for your final choice. You are not even obligated to choose a finalist name. It is simply a fun aid. It's entirely up to you whether you use it or not.
