Dofodo is dominoes with new rules: the depth of chess and precisely measured luck. A board game for 2 players that works with no internet.
A standard double-six set, 28 tiles, and completely different rules: tiles don't line up in a chain, they grow as a tree from the root. Branches can be extended or pruned. Hands are open like in chess: both players see each other's tiles, and the only randomness is the face-down boneyard.
Three ways to play:
• two players at one screen, taking turns;
• against a bot, three strength levels;
• on two phones side by side, over Bluetooth, no internet needed.
2 player games with no internet
At home, on the road, on a plane, on the subway: no connection is needed for any mode. Play together on one phone, or on two phones side by side over Bluetooth, with no sign-up and no accounts.
A board game, not a solitaire
This is an abstract strategy game for two: count, don't hope for luck. Hands are open, so a match is closer to chess and checkers than to classic blind dominoes.
Learn as you play
The tutoring mode explains moves right at the table. Match history can be replayed move by move. The full rules of the game are open and published, the link is inside the app.
No ads, offline, no data collection
The app is free and fully offline: no ads, no paid content (only optional tips), no accounts, no data collection. Eleven interface languages.
The game was created by Alexey Kiselyov and Olga Popova.
