Very disappointed I like what app offers, like saving and backing up stops, can input final destination and up to ten way points, but don't let the phone ring, or peek at an email. Because when you go back to your route, you'll have to put all data back in place. I don't enjoy that. All day long! I will not renew my subscription. it is very annoying. I am shopping around for something less stressful. Any suggestions? Just to add, I saw a similar complaint a year ago and this issue is still happening tells me it ain't
Tend to agree with other reviews. This app has a lot more updated data. I am based in NY and can see how well they update all the road closures.
Pretty good. Anyway you could make this a flat price like Copilot does? Copilot is $99 and doesn't require you to rent the app. Yours is $99 for three years. I paid for a short subscription for Smart Truck Route app before then had switched to Copilot. I find myself using Copilot and Google Maps for the satellite images but would like to switch back to Smart Truck Route because of both. Not owning the app makes me feel like I'm getting ripped off. It's hard to justify the cost of switching back even though I'd like too.
Best solution for accurate and best route for CDL Drivers! Now it isn't perfect, but the maps are right, as they are google's maps. Routing is the best of all the solutions I have tried: Garmin 760 Dezl, Rand McNally 730, Aponia Truck, Sygic Truck. Finding locations, there is no better. Now for the downsides which I can live with. The GUI is very dated, no material design, just looks old. Also careful with all apps that have static images on your screen staying on for long periods, you will get screen burn-in. When you don't have internet, you can't route or look at maps. This is an issue when you have to change routes in a No Cell Service area (Plan ahead). Favorites can't easily be transferred (Import/Export) to other programs as the format of favorites isn't CSV. No Traffic auto reroute, some clunky software issues (nothing that isn't easy to deal with NO hardware or App solution is perfect) Side note, When in city and your GPS signal stinks, it uses Cell towers for location and doesn't get confused, no hardware solution handles city driving well, even with external antenna. I never give 5 stars unless application is perfect, so this 4 star is high praise.
Still using Been about 11 months using this app. Any way to keep it navigating while screen is off? It's burning my screen. On white pages and when I start my phone the AT&T splash screen shows the Smart Truck Route navigation screen as a watermark.
