About this app

Transfer files without internet. File Transfer is a fast file sharing app that sends files phone to phone over Wi-Fi Direct — no mobile data, no cloud, no account. Share photos, videos, music, documents, APK files and whole folders in seconds, and transfer files to PC or iPhone straight from your browser.

WHY THIS FILE TRANSFER APP
• Fast file transfer — up to 40+ MB/s on supported phones
• Works offline: share files with no internet, no Wi-Fi network, no router
• No ads while a transfer is running
• Minimal permissions — no location permission on Android 13+
• Your files never touch a server: no account, no sign-up, no upload

SHARE FILES PHONE TO PHONE
Open Receive on one phone and Send on the other. Nearby devices appear on the radar — tap, confirm, done. Send large files, 4K videos, photo albums, music, PDFs, APK app files and entire folders at once.

CAN'T PAIR? SCAN THE QR CODE
If Wi-Fi Direct can't connect, the receiver opens a private hotspot and shows a QR code. The sender scans it and the file transfer starts — no router, no internet, no settings to change. The scanner needs no camera permission.

TRANSFER FILES TO PC — IN ANY BROWSER
No PC software to install. Open the address on your computer or scan the QR code, then drag and drop files to send them to your phone, or download files from your phone. Works on Windows, macOS, Linux and Chromebook.

SEND FILES TO IPHONE AND IPAD
Nothing to install on the other side. The phone opens a private hotspot, the iPhone joins it with the Camera app, and files move in Safari. Great for switching phones or sharing files with friends on iOS.

FOLDER SYNC
Pick folders you share often, like your camera roll. Next time only the files the other phone is missing are sent, so a big photo transfer takes seconds.

END-TO-END ENCRYPTED
Every phone-to-phone transfer is encrypted with ECDH key exchange and AES-256-GCM. When you connect by QR, the receiver's key is verified from the code; over Wi-Fi Direct both screens show the same 4-digit security code. You approve every incoming file before anything is saved.

RESUMES WHERE IT STOPPED
If the connection drops during a large file transfer, nothing is lost. Send again and the transfer continues from the exact byte it stopped at, so the part already received is never resent.

• Sending large files and 4K videos without internet
• Moving photos and videos from phone to PC or laptop

FILE TRANSFER PRO — ONE PAYMENT, NO SUBSCRIPTION
The free version transfers phone to phone with no size limit and no speed limit. Pro is a single purchase that removes every ad, lifts the file size limit for phone ⇄ PC transfers and unlocks folder sync. No subscription, no yearly renewal. You can also watch a short ad to try Pro for one hour.

PERMISSIONS
• Nearby devices: to find phones around you and open the private hotspot. The permission is declared "never for location".
• Location (Android 12 and older only): required by the system for Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot on those versions. We never read or store your location.
• Notifications: to show transfer progress while you use other apps.

Fast file transfer, offline file sharing and a phone-to-PC file manager in one small app. No cloud, no account, no ads in the way.
