About this app

The software is HT-101 and HT-201 thermal imager supporting software. The software can display the image captured by the thermal imager, display the highest temperature, the lowest temperature and the central temperature of the picture, and store the picture of the thermal imager by taking pictures and videos. The software can display both the thermal imager picture and the front and back camera picture of the mobile phone, so that the user can recognize the object easily.

Slow response to shutter button press causes missed shots/motion blur of moving targets like animals and people. Shutter button is small, causing missed shots. Visible light shots are made with the wide-angle lens, causing distortion, with no way to select the regular one. Pictures are exported as JPGs and temperature scale/color palette cannot be adjusted. Temp scale has options for F°, C°, K°, but only displays C°. Temp scale numbers do not export with the pictures (to tell what a color means)

Although the description says "works on your device" this is not true! It is NOT working on Android 9+ (tested with Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Tab S7+, and S23 Ultra). Higher Android versions apparently block (certain) accesses to the USB ports and hence the app does not even detect the presence of the camera. I bought an expensive paper-weight. :-(

Camera is great. Software is limited. No options other than type of display. No image management. No post editing. No storage options. No file naming. No export. Images don't show in file manager. If you want something other than "look how pretty the image is" keep looking.
