About this app

tempi.fi's wireless temperature and humidity sensors record a new reading every minute using best-in-class Swiss made temperature and humidity sensing components, sync directly to your smart phone, fit almost anywhere, and last longer than a year on a single coin cell battery.

They are ideal for monitoring refrigerators, freezers, children’s rooms, animal & pet conditions, wine cellars, greenhouses, senior living conditions, freezing pipes, art collections, cigar humidors, chicken incubation, musical instruments and more…

With this app, you can connect and setup one or more sensors, continuously monitor temperature and humidity, get notifications when the temperature or humidity is out of range, store a virtually unlimited history, and export data in CSV format.

How it works:
• Automatically setup your sensor by holding it over your phone or tablet
• Name your sensor and set your desired conditions (if any)
• When in range, the app will automatically upload the sensor data
• If temperature or humidity is higher or lower than desirable, you get an app notification
• View historical data and create reports anytime

Ratings and reviews

The app works well, but needs polish. Need to be able to reorder the items in the list. Should be a way to clear the data without having to pull the battery. And a suggestion to the developer: Do what Meater does, allow us to set up a phone or tablet as a hub and let us upload to the cloud (or our own storage), and allow us to sync with that.

The system works very well. Even when you are out of blue tooth range, the data is saved, and dowloads as soon as you return. I have four sensors, and the app reports values with precision and reliability. I rated the app four stars as it needs more control of reporting options and downloads.

Worked great to monitor pop up camper temperature. Also used to monitor new battery charging system while camper was closed up, really helped. App is simple and stable. Months (edit: YEARS) after they said it would happen, still no hub. Customer service is NOT GOOD. Asked question about compatibility of old Tempi versions with upcoming hub, only reply was asking where did I get the additional device. So concerned about counterfeit devices that they never answered my question.

What’s new

• You can now re-order your sensors in app settings to control how they are displayed
• In the sensor settings, you can delete a sensor's history
• A warning icon appears when the OS settings need to be optimized for this app, and a new help page guides you
• Identify a sensor in the app by gently pressing and holding the center of the back label to activate the hidden button under the cover (newer sensors only)
• The battery level is now displayed as voltage (replace at or below 2.3v)
