Warning: This is not a toy but a seriously fun & programmable Classic 16th note step sequencer/drum machine to capture those ideas when that flash of inspiration hits while away from the studio.

Don't let the name fool you, there is nothing Lil about this! Musicians & Producers will appreciate the clean interface, pattern editing, ability to load multiple .wav files quickly into each channel on one screen, multiple FX options, settings & ease of export into DAWs.

The Lil Drum Machine is an engaging way to experiment with rhythms in isolation and export beats to wav, ogg, or mid loops.

14 classic & unique drum kits/percussion banks as well as 168 .wav samples get you started sequencing drum beats and mixing & matching sounds.

The Lil Drum Machine's sole mission is to fill the void when we are outside of our studios and not tweaking on our gear and DAW's. This app is incredible. I bought it to delay my purchase of the analog hardware version and the app is exceeding all expectations. The sounds are Top notch and it has full pro level features. I plan on passing the beats through analog hardware and tape for vibe, but honestly the sounds are already good enough to use on records. I run an independent record label and I expect to be able to use this app to make beats on my phone and import them into my pro studio.

Enjoy using it and the sample input is my main interest in using the app. What I will say is that there is an issue trying to pull samples out of a directory on the SD card; there is no way to get to the root of the SD card while choosing samples. If you are inventive and want to take samples you chopped up, you'll find soon your phone's memory is too full. I would highly recommend trying to amend this in the next update so that you can ship all of Lil Drum Machine onto a large SD card.

Very awesome Drum machine. I am only rating it three stars because you can not quantize the type of notes you use. If I could edit between 1/32 and 1/64 notes it would be the easiest 5 stars ever. It would certainly have FL mobile beat in terms of accessibilty when making drum beats. Hope you all add this in the future. Overall killer for straight forward beats, sub kicks, and e'quing the drums.
