RocketCalc is a graphical calculator for determine the altitude and velocity a model rocket is likely to achieve. Enter into RocketCalc the parameters of your model rocket and rocket engine. RocketCalc will then display the likely flight profile. You can tap on the RocketCalc flight profile screen to find the altitude and velocity at any particular time during the rockets flight. Default values are for a B6 rocket engine.
Select the Results menu item to display values for maximum velocity and maximum altitude and other key measurements.
You can also find the time of maximum altitude of your model rocket and the amount of time the rocket will coast. This allows you to select a rocket engine with a delay before ejection charge so that the parachute doesn't deploy too early or too late.
