About this app

Streama is a media player client designed for user-hosted media libraries.

Please note: This application does not provide, host, or index any video or audio content, nor does it have any built-in video sources. You need to connect to a media server that you have built or have access to (Emby, Jellyfin, Plex) to play your own audio and video files.

■ Connect to your own server

· Supports Emby, Jellyfin, and Plex; multiple servers can be added and quickly switched simultaneously.

· Supports configuring multiple lines for the same server, with automatic switching between internal and external networks.

· Browse your media library, continue watching, favorite, and search; playback progress is synchronized bidirectionally with the server.

· Credentials are stored locally on your device using Android encryption.

■ Dual playback kernels, capable of handling even the most demanding tasks

· Freely switch between ExoPlayer and mpv (libmpv) kernels.

· Adjustable hardware/software decoding; ExoPlayer can enable FFmpeg extended decoding and ASS subtitle extension.

· mpv supports GPU/GPU Next rendering, Dolby Vision color correction, and low-overhead decoding mode.

· Anime4K real-time super-resolution, enhancing animation lines with GPU shaders.

· Finely adjustable buffering, disk caching, memory caching, and next episode preloading.

· Picture-in-picture, background playback, audio passthrough, audio channel selection, and speed adjustment without pitch change.

· Gesture-based brightness and volume adjustment, double-tap for fast forward/rewind, long-press for playback speed adjustment; customizable button layout on the playback page.

· Font, color, outline, background frame, and transparency are all adjustable; supports importing your own TTF/OTF fonts.

· Multi-language priority settings; automatically selects your desired subtitle track.

· Online subtitle search and loading; seamless subtitle switching without lag.

· Can integrate your own AI translation service for real-time subtitle translation.

■ Enhanced Bullet Screen Experience

· Multiple bullet screen engines to choose from (AkDanmaku / Canvas / FlameMaster)

· Opacity, display area, font size, scrolling speed, and maximum number of bullet screens are individually adjustable.

· Regular expression blacklist blocking; anti-obstruction of characters (experimental feature).

· Automatic skipping of intros and outros; automatic playback of the next episode.

· Browsing TMDB metadata, posters, stills, cast and crew information, and details page.

· Synchronization of viewing history and favorites after Trakt account authorization.

■ Configuration Backup

• One-click export/import of all settings, server configurations, and credentials.

• Supports WebDAV remote backup and restore; no need to reconfigure when switching devices.

■ Privacy Information

• This application does not have its own backend server and does not have an account system; developers cannot access any of your data.

• Does not include advertising SDK, statistics analysis SDK, or crash reporting SDK.

• Network requests are only sent to your own configured servers and third-party services that you actively enable.

Logs are stored locally and only leave the device when you actively export them.
