Hearing assessment tool designed for Speech and Language specialists (SLP) and audiologists.
The Ling Sound Test evaluates detection, discrimination and reproduction of the 6 speech-spectrum sounds: /a/, /u/, /i/, /m/, /s/ and /ʃ/. A reference assessment for monitoring students with cochlear implants, hearing aids or other assistive listening devices.

• 18 stimuli in random order (6 sounds × 3 repetitions)
• Quick mode ⚡: 6 stimuli (1 repetition) for efficient monitoring
• Visual mode (specialist produces the sound) or audio mode (synthesis)
• Configurable by ear (RE / LE / Both) and distance (<1m, 1.5m, 3m)
• 5 response levels: No response · Detects · Discriminates · Vocalises · Inconsistent
• Ear and distance settings automatically remembered per student
👤 MANAGE STUDENTS
• Profile with name, date of birth, hearing device and notes
• Groups and labels by classroom, centre or team
• Visual status indicator in the list (green / amber / red)
• Configurable reminders: 3, 7, 15 or 30 days without a test
• Search and sort the student list (A-Z, date or status)
• Mark students as inactive without losing their history
📊 TRACK PROGRESS
• Evolution chart with numeric score at each data point (0–4 scale)
• Independent filters by ear and by distance on the chart
• Side-by-side comparison of two sessions with change indicator (📈📉)
📄 EXPORT REPORTS
• Individual PDF report with evolution charts and response legend
• Global PDF report for all active students in one file
• Individual and global CSV export compatible with Excel
• Full JSON backup to restore data on another device

What’s new
Based on feedback from the closed beta testers, the following features have been added:
- A reference audiogram based on the user’s previous data.
- A comparison between the Ling test results and the previous clinical audiogram.
