Tether AE is remote desktop software for the computers you already own. It gives you remote access to a Windows PC, a Mac or a Linux machine from the phone in your pocket, with the full screen and real remote control of keyboard and mouse, not a cut-down mobile view.
CONTROL YOUR COMPUTER FROM YOUR PHONE
Full remote control, including Ctrl+Alt+Del, modifier keys, scrolling and drag. Hardware-encoded H.264 video keeps the screen moving smoothly rather than crawling. Switch between multiple monitors on a machine that has more than one.

One app to access your computer from your phone whichever it runs. Access your Mac from your phone, reach a Windows PC at the office, or access your laptop remotely from a train. Remote login takes a single tap once a machine is paired, and remote screen access works the same on every platform.
END-TO-END ENCRYPTED, AND NOT JUST AS A PROMISE
Sessions are sealed between your phone and your machine under a key the two agree directly. The relay carrying them holds no key, so it cannot decrypt a frame, read a keystroke or reconstruct what was on your screen. That is a property of how it is built, not an undertaking to behave well.
PAIRED IN PERSON, ONCE
A machine is paired by somebody standing at it, scanning a code it displays. Nobody can attach themselves to your account from somewhere else, because attaching requires being at the machine. After that you have unattended access to a computer you own, with a single tap.
NO PORT FORWARDING
The agent makes an outbound connection, so you can connect to your PC from anywhere with no port forwarding and nothing opened on your router. Relays run in Europe and North America, and the service assigns the one your device uses, because latency is the whole experience of controlling a computer remotely.
REST MODE
Switch the remote display off while the machine stays reachable. A sleeping computer saves power but cannot answer you; Rest saves the screen and keeps the machine on the relay.
YOUR WEEK
An honest record of the minutes you actually worked away from the desk. A minute counts when you typed, tapped, scrolled or clicked in it. It is stored on your device and never uploaded.
